Default Going to Llyodminster(Gophers?)

I'm planning on going to Lloydminster on business at the end of April. I'll probably have some spare time some days. Are there any gophers around Lloyd? Wouldn't have an issue asking farmers around there either. Just wanna know if its worth packing my .22 and 22.250. I would look into local and provincial laws as I am out of province. Thanks in advance.
