Default Antler Arms Rocky Mountain vs Defiance Custom Build

Hey Gents,

I’d appreciate some feedback on which road I should take. Still not sure if a carbon wrapped barrel and titanium action is worth it. I walked a lot this hunting season, and carrying around a 10 pound rig got a bit old. I’m after an 8 pound unit.
Hugues at Antler seems like a good guy from chatting with him through email. The Rocky Mountain is basically a Fierce CT Edge with integral bases and an adjustable cheek. Any CT Edge owners out there ?
The build I was thinking about was a CRF Defiance Ruckus GA Hunter with a PSE Evolution stock from Ireland, and a KS Arms barrel.
Any advice would be super. Cheers Boys.

I have a CT edge in 7mm rem. I really like it, 2 things I would like to change is a shorter barrel and a directional brake. Other than that it is sure alot lighter than the Rem Sendero I had been hiking around with for years prior.

Thanks Glion. How many rounds have you put through her ? Does the bore seem good ? I’ve heard stories about the thin metal burning up quicker.

I haven't put much for bench time in on it. Mostly hunting and it hasn't missed yet. When I did a quick 3 shot group resting this fall at 242 yds it was still very good. The recoil always surprises me at how little it does. To be clear I do not treat this gun as a safe queen, it rides through the dust and on my back through all the bush. However I also have only done a box down her in a day a few times so it doesn't have a huge number down her. Not sure what else to say, the action I find a touch stickier then some not as buttery, however I have heard it is typical of titanium actions.
