I don't believe there is.
Lots of other "reports" out there people will try to get you to buy that really provide no value though.
The issue being, you buy the Carfax, he doesn't buy the car, you're out the cash. Maybe it helps you sell it to the next guy though, so no real loss, but maybe it doesn't.

In my mind, the cheaper the car, the less value the Carfax has. If we're talking really cheap, I'd likely suggest he can purchase it himself.

If he is asking for a car fax report and trying to direct you to a specific site to get it , then chances are it’s a scam.

Only way to get a guaranteed car fax report is to run the vin yourself, I had a shady dealership provide me with a car fax report that came up clean, and upon reselling that vehicle the next guy ran one, and it turned up $23000 in damages! Provide the gentleman with the vin and tell him to run it himself!

It's a scam otherwise, esp as noted by the other poster is they want you to get some sort of alternatively named VIN report

Carfax isnt 100% either.Ive often found repairs through GM Canada that carfax didn't show.

Ive had people text me links to other companys like carfax that are scams.

If Im selling and the price is 8K or more I provide the carfax, its $60, not really that much.

I have had guys send me the link, scam.
But if he is just asking, cheap if you can get the sale, have him put it in writing.

A friend of mine just finished dealing with a car history search scam. Directed to a vin search site, which grabbed all his personal info. See article that describes the scam.

I think it's $25 to obtain a Carfax report. Buy it yourself and provide it to serious buyers. If someone wants to push you to provide a different report, it's a scam. Carfax is not perfect but if the report is clean, you'll probably sell the vehicle.

Tell him that carfax only covers him if he buys the report.

Anything other than a carfax is a scam. My opinion is they can purchase it themselves if they're really interested.
