Default Think your good at scoring Tcam bucks?

Well with my season pretty much wrapped up for the year I figured I'd through a challenge out there to all the trail cam guys. I got a few good bucks on cam this year, this was the 3rd biggest and when he walked out after hunting for 13 days straight I couldn't pass his up.
Here's the Tcam pic take a guess at the score on the hoof.

He's nice but too many deductions to score high, and he's only a six pointer.

I would guess he's 154 to 156 with a gross around 160.

It looks to me like he could be a bit on the narrow side. I can't tell from the photos so if I'm wrong about that then he could go as high as 165 gross and possibly 155 net.

I gather that you have scored him. I look forward to seeing what you found.
I'll tell you one thing for sure, he's bigger then my eight point 2011 buck.
I scored him at 154 gross and 145 net. My measurements probibly weren't very good, but good enough to know it wasn't worth having him officially scored.

I'd say he's going somewhere around 140 gross.

with out g4's he will not make 150 gross, he has good mass that will help but is not overly wide, has a sticker for a 3"-4" deduction, safe to say 140's gross netting around the 135.

When I first seen the pics I was with most of your guys thinking mid 140's, but when he walked out on Thursday morning at 30 yards and hit the ground shortly after I was kind of surprised when I walked up. The pics don't show the matching sticker off this other G2 or the small point off his base on the other side. He had just over 9" of sticker points and mass measurements were all fairly high, but like super7mag said he's not very wide. I haven't got the good field pics loaded yet but here's a few.
Gross score 156" didn't bother with a net score but I'm sure it would be around 140"

I was high by 4 inches. I'm happy with that.
Pretty hard to get close with only one angle to judge from.

Ya, I can see one brow tine but not the other but assuming it's there, I'm with you bambi. It takes a monster 4x4 to break 140.

They are certainly out there, filmed three different old warriers this season that were well above 150... A team member tipped over a magestic giant this season that was a touch over 160 on film.

Bambi knows of two of these, could post trail cam pictures is anyone is interested...

LOL...please reread what I posted.....I never said they weren't there sled...just said it took a heck of a 4x4 to break 140. It does. Obviously you saw some. I've got a 4x4 at home that's in the high 150s. Ya, I know they are there but it takes a big 4x4 to break 140...I don't think the one in the picture does....do you?

He's got some cool junk...but I'm with others in saying he's not over 140...I'd say 132.

You could be right, I don't have the numbers in front of me but I'll grab them and tell you the net score. I agree that it does take a big 4x4 to break the 140 mark but with this deer being a 6x7 with a typical 5x4 frame. I guess you'd have to score him as a non-typ to get the 156" gross, I know the deductions killed his net score.

Sorry Sheep,

I'm not one to comment on someones else measurements, some tapes get stretched, some don't. Really, inches are great, but memories last a lifetime..

Congrats to the original poster, great trophy !

Ot takes a pretty ugly rack to loose ten inches to deductions. He'll go over 145 if you are right about the Gross.

No measurements were posted...I was just guessing like the rest. I could easily be way out to lunch.

Ya, I was just commenting on his main frame. I see he's got some character points for sure. Either way, looks like an old timer to me and one heck of a buck to take. Sorry about the brief hijack...it was just an innocent comment that was misinterpreted. Back to our regular scheduled programming.

Grabbed the measurement and entered it into B&C my numbers were 1.75" off. Gross score of 154.25" and net score of 139".

Didn't even look like there was a brow on his right in the first photo, lol. I'd have given him a few more inches.

Good bucks there, Scottie.

Actually 10" is easy, especially with stickers, as the stickers are not added into gross inches but are deducted from the gross. Doesn't matter anyways, beauty of a buck congrats to the OP. no shame in puttin him on the ground whatsoever.
