Default Speedgoat For The Wall

My son's pronghorn was added to the wall this week. He was pretty pumped about it and decided he'd like to spend his money on taxidermy. We obviously share the same sickness. I've got my own tag this fall and am pretty happy to have the chance to hunt them where I grew up, maybe I'll even kill one on land owned by my mom and dad, time will tell.

Beauty! How did the young fella draw a tag at such a young age? Is this an Alberta goat?

I’m thinking that’s a sask goat given the young’ in drew a tag.

Yes, it is a Sask goat. I have no idea how he got lucky enough to draw a tag when he was 13, on his second year in the draw. We won't complain though as it was good fortune and a fun muzzleloader hunt.

We did not have it scored, just roughed it ourselves at 77. I've done enough antler scoring of deer to believe I was not too far out of the ballpark.

I've got way too many whitetails on the wall, 10 shoulder mounts. I often ponder where they'll all end up.

Great buck and the taxidermy looks top shelf. Looks like you don't mess around when it comes to whitetails either...

Thanks for sharing.
