Default Fly Swap

Have not seen a fly swap in a while so I thought I would start one. I dont think we will make any rules on a set fly. Just what ever you feel would help out your fellow angler. Looking forward to seeing what you all contribute. Will get a few names on here then set a date. please post here the typ of fly you wish to contribute

I am in.

Might I suggest including a SASE in the envelope so the person doing the organizing does not lose out on postage?

I made 12 '57 Buick's last time and got 5 back, maybe posting what we are doing is a good idea?

I am either going to do Doc Spratley's or water beetles.

I might go in twice and send 12 of each!

Count me in. I have a pattern that has not let me down on any lake. It is a cross between a nymph and a bugger. It works amazing.

I have absolutely no worries or concerns about receiving something that isn't perfect (cripples catch fish too ), and I know that a couple of us in the swap haven't been tying for very long.

I'd like to join the swap. What I'll tie is TBD but I'm thinking either stonefly nymph or deceiver.

Cheers,
Ben

Welcome, Ben I'm so glad to see you here! (You've personally delivered flies I've purchased from you to my little brownish stucco bungalow in Huntington Hills a couple of times).

I'm looking forward to what you dish up for us.

I'll add . . . please remember the toe-tags! A toe-tag is just a little strip of paper that you pierce over the point, which has the name of the fly and your forum name on it. These are very handy . . . especially for patterns that aren't instantly recognizable

Thanks for the welcome and glad to be part of the board. I do recall delivering to you...thanks for your business. I look forward to seeing your ties too.

Tight lines,
Ben

Does anyone mind if we have two late entries Lippy and CanadianEh. That would bring us to 14?

I think a couple more would be great: especially since there have been folks who haven't sent their flies in the last couple of swaps.
