Question Lac St.Anne

Anybody been out there lately? How were the walleye biting? Still got some tags to fill and was thinking about heading out there soon.

I was there on Sunday. Ended up fishing for jack with just jigs and no bait. We caught 3 ranging from 24 to 28 inches. This was in 3 hours of fishing.

Last time I was fishing for walleye they were bitting roughly an hour before sunset. Walleye were roughly 19-21 inches. This was a few weeks ago though.

We didn't have any tags. Just catch and release.

I was there on last Saturday. I caught 8 walleyes and one pike. lost 2 while pulling up.. lots of fun. I fished about 2 hours there. The average size for walleyes are about 17 to 20 inch.

have fun

i was lucky enough to be invited by a fellow member with a proper boat to fish from alberta beach this summer and i was surprized at how important it was to know that lake. he had his favourite spots mapped on a gps and as we moved from spot to spot we would often pass over areas that were only 2 feet deep in the middle of the lake! after a great day of fishing i also got some tags that i hope to fill once the lake turns over or on hard water.

just don't want to hurt the fish too much. I believe the glove is good for handling fish...and the glove is cheap (10 bucks for 100)....and you don't get a smelly hand at the end of your fishing trip......and, most importantly, you will be more willing to pick some garbage someone else left if you have these glove on....

So......I alway bring some glove on my fishing trip..just personal!
