Default Alumacraft 175 trophy pro elite

So Im driving up to possibly pull the pin on an alumacraft ....'99 with 135hp merc. Great price alumacraft was in my top 3 brands ( Lund/Crestliner ). Any warnings out there as this will be to upgrade my old run swamp donkey!!

Check the serial # on motor to get exact model and year - hopefully not one of those 99-04 mercs that have all those annoying fuel/injector problems. I'm pretty sure it happened with the 115/135 engines.

Maybe just google it.

I googled that it seems that it was the larger 150-200+ hp motors that were the issue.... Not the 115-135's... I'll look again... ( but it'll be my problem now!!!&#128563

I've fished out of a 185 Competitor tiller a dozen times and for me it's the perfect boat, amazing layout...if I had a spare 30+ grand it would be in my garage! My buddy who owns it has been an Alumacraft guy since the late 90's and believe me he knows a thing or two...the 185 is his 5th!
