Default Pigeon Ice conditions help me out

has ne one been to pigeon lately how was the ice and what side of the lake were you on is it safe enough to drive a truck on it?

I measured 20 inches of ice as of last weekend! Fishing is very slow though.I was at the provincial park side.

Careful though - that ice isn't consistent. I was there for a bit on Wednesday morning - both Grandview area and Mulhurst... lots of ice in some spots.. only 10 inches with some frozen flood on top in others.

I wouldn't go exploring if I was you.. stick to where others have gone if you're driving on.

there was quite a bit of melt off on top last week ...almost looked like a swimming pool but the ice underneath was still fairly thick around mulhurst and towards the indian reserve... im quite positive its safe but pls dont quote me on that lol... im sure ull see a bunch of trucks out there tho

I was out this morning. All the slush has frozen quite solid. There were a few vehicles on the lake...the ice was about 16" thick. So, the ice is now safe for vehicles (as compared to two weeks ago when I buried my skidoo in the slush). But, the fishing was terrible...the slowest in five weeks. Wish you better luck than I had.

was out today and the whole lake varries one spot is 7 50 yards of is 10-15 i wouldnt drive on yet there

i drove on at the prov. park a few weeks ago & like the rest of the lake,theice had weak spots with only 6 or 7 inches. Anyone out there today? How'd you make out?

i was out there today somewhere on the south side i forget what its called but we seen probably 20 whites but none of them would bite anyone know what to use or what they are biting on?
also seen a couple nice walleye and a small jack
