Already planning for next spring!
Hey all,
Just wanted to start off and say, I finally took the plunge, came out of the weeds and into the open water. I've been on the forum lots as a visitor but just never signed up. I've learnt lots already from you all, and I thank you for it!
That said, I'm already having fly fishing fever and planning some outtings for next year. I'm curious if anyone has ever attempted to fly out of the sturgeon river, and/or long lake off highway 831 out by Boyle.

Outtings for next year?! you know it is possible to flyfish all winter long!!  With this warm windy weather we are recieving down south I think I'll be heading out this weekend!

Oh man how I wish I could winter fly. I don't know of any open water in the capital region, and I don't think the boss will let me get down south for a few days with Christmas around the corner.
On a side note, guy on a buffalo is a pretty epic youtube beauty! The first time I seen it, my mouth dropped wondering what the heck this was, then to turned a good laugh after he found the baby! Apparently the original movie is called Buffalo Rider and the whole movie is found on youtube as well!

Wouldn't it be nice if they could have one set of laws for all the morons out there and a less resrictive set of laws for the rest of us. I'm sure its not possible but it's so nice to imagine.
