Default Bull Moose November WMU 356

Hey boys, was drawn for the late season bull moose draw in 356 south of GP, heading up there for a week at the end of the month and seeing if anyone has any tips out there. Was out up there for four days in early October for a scouting trip, ran into a couple of cows and a helluva lot of workers towards the eastern part of the zone(due west of the trunk road). Was thinking of directing most of my efforts nearer the west side (Nose Mtn or west of hwy 40) It's a massive area and any tips would be appreciated.

Glad to see all the success on the board and straight shooting to you all for the rest of the season.

Google earth is your friend. That's if you haven't laid eyes on the area yet. Eliminate so much hiking and scouting this way. Nail down areas via satellite that look low/boggy and then hit those systematically with boots on the ground.

Definitely stay West of 40. And make sure you've got an Elk tag in your pocket!

Muddy as hell but that's supposed to change. Whatch out for the flat spots. Might be a 1/2" of ice and mud underneath . Good luck

X2 until is freezes solid

I'd pack a wolf tag over an elk tag there these days, in fact you've got a better chance of seeing a wolf then an elk or moose ☹️
