Default Alumacraft vs Lund

I realize a lot has been written about which boat to buy, and I have read through those threads extensively... I am wondering though if there is anyone out there that has been in both an Alumacraft (Navigator or Dominator) and a Lund (Rebel) and can share any thoughts on how well each held a straight line (as they have different theories on the keels) and how well each would work with back trolling? Any other thoughts would be appreciated but as I indicated, I realize there is a large discussion relating to similar issues, I was just hoping to address the specific questions.

Default Lund- Alumacraft

The first problem you have is that there arent any good dealers

for either product in southern alberta anyway ...

Alumacraft is a tough product to shop because the dealers dont respond

If I buy a Lund will likely be out of Province ...

Alumacraft is a lot cheaper for same model type but what about the

finish etc...It is a problem if you seriously want to buy one of these ..

Any thoughts on what boats to look at that would be comparable and have decent dealers available in the Red Deer and surrounding area?
