Alta-View Trout Pond?

I used to love fishing there. I'm pretty sure the owner past away a couple years ago and was wondering if anyone knew if it was still operational?

Doug, the owner, died about 5 years ago. Most fish netted out. Many over 10lbs. Alta-View is shut down. I agree, it was a fun place to catch rainbows. Doug was one of Alberta's pioneers in raising trout...he claimed to be able to get rainbows to reproduce in his ponds. He had an interesting hatchery. I wish I could have talked to him more before he passed away.
