Default Bow Float-How much would you pay

Just curious, what would you pay for a day trip in a drift boat down the bow? We all know what guides are charging. And to me 500 is fair for a full days work especially after expenses. But what if someone offered a boat and themselves as an oarman/woman and no guide services. So the client would be responsible for all their own gear, lunch etc.
This service would be for the people that don't require a guide, just a boat.
And so everyone knows, I'm not doing this. Just trying to have a conversation

This is a tough one. Personally, I wouldn't be willing to pay a whole lot (I'm "thrifty"). But, when one factors in an hourly wage and boat "rental," the sum definitely adds up.

I think a $50 boat fee and $20 an hour wage would be fair: $210.

That being said, there is no way I'd pay $210 for one person. I doubt I'd even pay $100.

spend about 500 bucks on an "intex" brand 3 layer PVC inflatable and float the river as often as you like. that's what i did; ooutside city limits you can use a motor on it - just go and have your fun.

i still have the same boat to tis day and it's doin fine
cheers

The first trip cost me $9000, every trip after that runs about $60 for gas and shuttle. There are guides on the Bow who only charge $350 for a day float for two people, and that is a bargain. I enjoy wading more than drifting but a boat gets you to places that are inaccessible on foot.
