Default Same fletches on all arrows?

Question is....is it good practice to have all your arrows fletched with the same manufacture of fletches?

IMHO it best to, ..We have weighed same lengh vanes from different manufacturers and they can vary 4-5 grain differance between the two...interestingly enough same vanes from same companies can vary by color also...white being the lightest..

different manufacturer vanes also vary in stiffness from the vert soft to very stiff...

hmmmm that sounded like a Viagra ad...lol

Having said that if your bow is well tuned it should fly the same.
.. but in Achery consistantcy is arcuracy...

I was zeroed in at 20,30 and up to 50 when I had the Blazer vanes on a month ago, but I brushed off several of my vanes and replaced them when a different vane. These new vanes are definitely a little thicker and seem to be brushing my QAD rest when the arrow is fired. The vane is not bigger than the Blazer vane, only thicker, so I dont know why there is fletch contact now. I tend to agree that all your arrows should have the same vanes. Thanks for the response LOST.
