Default another nice wallie pic

thought i'd share another nice wallie caught recently at herm. had to ask the young fellow and his father for permission as the son is a minor. he's only 12 years old but a real gung-ho fisherman. he also beats the crap out of me when it comes to the long cast, and he'll share fishing stories with you all day.

Is it usually pretty busy down at Herm during the weekends? Seems like every other post is about someone pulling out a big walleye at Herm. I personally would love to catch a nice sturgeon out of the NSR!

HA busy is an understatement. Herm is a zoo most of the time especially weekends. I persobally avoid herm mostly because I'm a Misanthrope but to each his own I suppose. Good luck

I think it's a cover up for something, Anyone who call's a Len Thompson #1, a "kitty" lure, for pike fishing, makes me shake my head, but each to there own. I have yet to see any large pike in any of his pics. And I have caught many nice pike on "kitty" lures.

Haha, I knew you'd come around. Hoping to get one last SSR fish in after this hitch and before the white stuff comes. Still looking for a double digit Walter myself...

Waterninja(best name ever), thanx for sharing pic. Great to see youngsters out in the chilly weather, he must be hooked!
