Default Need ideas

After working away from home for the summer I told my two boys that I would take them camping. I only got to see them a few times over the last four months so they need some quality Dad time. They are 2 and 5 years old. I am open to tenting, teepee rental or cabin suggestions. They are becoming great little fishermen so ideally it will be on or near a lake. I am thinking sometime at the end of september or begining of October. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

We have had a couple of great fishing trips to Sylvan.
With wee ones I found it easier to grab a hotel, this way I dont have to worry about all the little things that go along with camping and kids.
Beautiful little town. Great fishing. Lots of fun for kids.
Oh we really liked the food at Blondie's. We had stayed at the Comfort in, which was perfect for us.

Fickle Lake south of Edson, if you dont have a boat you can usually catch fish right from the rock pier. Chain Lakes north west of Athabasca, stocked rainbow lake and of course Carson lake north of whitecourt.

Camping will depend on the weather. I have taken the 5 year old two previous years. As long as I kept him entertained he didnt mind the temps. I have seen there are a few places that rent tipis. If it is too cold that may be an option. It may be a challenge with the two year old (actually 22 months). I have great memories of when I was young and camping and I want my sons to have the same.

If anyone knows of some inexpensive cabins or tipis I would also like to hear about it.

Thanks again for the ideas!
