Default Chicago to Kalispell shipper needed

I have two pallets to get from Chicago to Kalispell. I'll drive down from Alberta & pick them up.
Need to know a trust worthy trucking firm to do this, next month.

Thanks !

You would have to get an American trucking company to do it, a Canadian trucking company can only pick up freight in the U.S. and bring it to Canada. If you get Fordtruckin involved you could make it work. Have you tried any Canadian trucking firms? It might not cost that much more to get the freight delivered to Edmonton. You could try someone like Continental Cartage, they are in Edmonton and Calgary.

I used U-ship for a sled and a Rhino from Chicago to Idaho and it worked out great.

I've shipped bulk crap through Fed-Ex, it went from Anchorage to Walla Walla Washington. cost less than 200$. You could try USFreightways, UPS, depending upon how big it is USPS although they may be a bit more$$. um,,, UnitedFreightCompany.com, ABF Freight Systems (abfs.com) or Express Freight Company which convienently is based outta Chicago....

Thanks for posting the info on trucking.
I have an engine & trans that needs shipping.
I e-mailed Bison Trucking. They only do full loads.
They told me to contact Reimer Trucking, as they do less than full loads. E-mailed them & they will only do business to business. No personal.
I'll contact others.....

Reeves,
For work I often use Conway for shipments like you described.
They are about the biggest freight transporter of shipments like this.

We use Conway as well, never had any issues with them.. I do know a few hot shot companies that are usually light coming North that might be able to help you out as well... Very reasonable if they are light on the return trip..

Default shipping

Canadian Freightways
They have a sister company in the States and a bond yard here in Edmonton but I would insure it ....

If this is the company: http://www.con-way.com/en/
I sent them an e-mail last night.

Thanks guys for all the tips/contacts !

Might be a bit of a delay now: 2007 F-350 diesel quit on me & the tow charge is well over a grand (if I go that route) !

T-Bone ..... insurance will be a given : Rare engine !

From the poor maps I've been able to find this sleepless morning, Kalispell is much closer to Alberta.
