307 Win AE 94

As the tiltle says. Does anyone know if these are rare guns ?? Guy I know has one and doesn't want to hunt anymore. he is looking at selling just doesn't know what price he should ask. If anyone has info about these gun. That would be awsome

wouldn't say rare but uncommon for sure. I've seen probably a dozen or so in the last 10 years, been a few on this site as well as over on CGN.

The .307 Win cartridge is slightly less powerful than the .308 but is handicapped somewhat by less efficient bullets. This has been mitigated by the availability of Hornady FTX bullets. If you reload, you can use .308 dies to size and seat .307 cases/bullets. The cases are slightly different in that the .307 has thicker walls and is rimmed versus the .308 being rimless. Do NOT use .308 data in the .307

Definately a nice rifle,i picked one up sometime ago,if you reload great because winchester it seems are the only ones who offer shells.i would buy another any day.as far as price,i guess what ever seems fair.

In comparable shape they command 150-200 more than a 30-30. From what i've seen. Nice guns, I had one when I just got out of high school. Wish I still had it.

Good carbines for sure, you can actually use 308 dies to hand load them.
let me know of you buy it, I may have some brass I can give you!
