Default Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I just checked all the major places in Alberta for their temperature this morning.
High Level, Ft. Mac, GP, PR, Red Earth, Edson, Whitecourt, Edmonton, Veg, Loyd, DV, Stettler, RMH, Calgary, Nordeg, Taber, Lethbridge. All are -32 or colder
-40 or colder in a lot of places like HL, Ft. Mc, Veg, Edson.

I've gone through colder, but dont ever remember it being this wide spread.

Well it's gotta be doing a number on the Pine Bettle Larvi. Or I at least hope so.

Don't ya be fer giten yer woolies this morning I tell ya!

Hopefully my truck won't start today, but I wouldn't wanna bet against that POS F150!

I figured I better put the winter front on the new diesel. Just spent 10 minutes freezing my arse off, only to discover I have the wrong front. It appears I have the 2007 set-up and I need the 2007.5 front. I wonder if there is any sort of warranty on fingers! Regards, Mike

My best friend is in Edmonton and I just talked to him on his way to work...he said it's -38 even without the wind chill!!

My car wouldn't start yesterday...never was there a day she wouldn't start. Of course, I've also never plugged her in.

-42 without the wind in GP now. When I got up at 5 we had a small wind pushing the wind chill to -57.

I think you're a tad confused there Partner - Ft. mac is -42c WITHOUT the wind.
That's temp taken from the airport....

Just tried the ford - DANG - looks like I'm goin' to work again .

Yep I knew it was cold when I got to work and Bob showed up wearing a hoodie. First time ever I have seen the man with something on other than a t-shirt and I have worked in the same office as Bob for 6 years now.

Had a REAL hard time shifting gears this morning. Then as I was pulling off the highway into work I discovered that my brakes were pretty much frozen. Damn hydraulic fluid. Sure woke me up in a hurry though

I wonder if I'm going to be stuck at work now...

I think I've been spoiled by the past few winters.

Yup this is coldest I remember around here in the last year or two.
5 or 6 years ago it hit -51 in our neighborhood.

He'd be wearing that hoodie in my home for 10 mos of the year lol. Wife likes to turn the thermostat way down. You have to send in a special request to see 20 degrees. 19 day/17night...............sounds like you guys in SRD are playing with supporting a general global temperature increase. I like it....

Temperature on my truck console in Morinville was -40. Cummins diesel turned over with no reluctance at all...it was plugged in of course

-44 was being reported at the Edmonton International (no wind component).

-31 with -43 windchill here right now in north Calgary. If ya get a chance, try this.....

Put hot water in a coffee mug and toss it into the air (outside of course ). I just did it twice and it was ice before it hit the gound. Kindda cool, but I'm easily amused.

Smile I don't understand all the complainin'

It was a balmy damn near 60 here if the farthest southern regions of Alberta.... Fort Worth ( Texas) that is, today.

Seriously fellas I have no idea how ya'll handle that stuff. Come on down and grab a cup of coffee or an unfrozen beer sometime! It will be in the 60's all week and down to almost 40 every night. I guess thats why we have refrigerators is to keep the beer cold enough to drink. Heck you guys can't even leave it outside up there the damn stuff will freeze and or bust the bottles.

Stay warm and do some reloading while you can't get outside.

I am sure I wil see some of you Albertans competing at the Fort Worth rodeo this weekend. You guys seem to graze down here every winter to grab some of that easy winter cash while the gettin's good down here.
