Default Surviving disaster tv show

Anyone watch this. Spike has a marathon on tonighy. Just watched to home invasion show. Apparently 1 in 5 houses in north america will at some point have some form of home invasion. It was prerty cool the ways they showed to get out of it. But all I could think was a firearm in every room would level the playing field pretty easy. I ask again, why do i need my guns locked up or disabled. And before I hear oh how likely is it going to happen to you. We all have insurance on everything even though the chances of something happening are low we still prepare for it. And with all the speed freaks and crack heads around, every sound i hear at night or when the dog growls i assume its some loser about tp break in. How many of you are prepared for the worst.

I don't worry to much about some one breaking in when I'm at home as for locking up the guns or disabled there is no law that they have to be that way if there in your immediate possesion. if I was worried about someone braeking in during the night I wuold probably lock the door and set a hand gun on the night stand by my bed witch is all legal the only time that your guns have to be locked up is when your not in immediate possesion of them.

I love knives and swords. I have a set of katana, wakizashi, and a daito on my dresser, 1 hunting knife on my computer desk and a collapsible baton in my closet. I keep my rifles locked up in my storage room. Chances are the person that broke in would come out in pieces. Im never worried about myself though. Im more worried about what they will do to my aunt because her room is right next to the door.
My plan would be to escape out my window and call the police from my neighbours house.
