After the showing Calgary made the other night, I hope boston makes some canuck soup this afternoon! I also hope the flames management wakes up and realizes that Sutter style hockey just isn't working anymore....

Default 2 Points?

Looks like the Bruins don't want the 2 points. Taking a lot of stupid penalties.

Dont they always? They love the cheap shots. They have great penalty killers too.

Wow Vancouver goes 41 games without burning their city down! Were all real impressed.

It could be a case of them dealing out a little punishment to rub in the fact that they currently own the Stanley Cup, and that they took it from Vancouver.

Nah they played the same way to get the Stanley cup. I think its cheap dirty hockey but I cant argue with the results.

Vancouver's power play was fairly ineffective against Boston so why not take the penalties?

I guess Boston is saving it for the playoffs. The refs will help them out even more once they get there.

Booyah! Go Canucks.

Vancouver will whine, while Boston plays hockey, and playing hockey is what wins cups. Then Vancouver's cry baby fans will trash the city.

Very few teams actually win the Cup by being "tough". It's a skill game and as long as the rules don't change in the playoffs, Canucks will be fine. They remind me a lot of Detroit in their heyday.

Game meant nothing today.

Wait until they meet up again in the playoffs and the Sedin's heads are used as speed bags and we will see who comes out on top.

I read something recently regarding fighting in hockey. It's not what you think. It's fighting to get the job done through perseverence. They used the Rocket as an example of someone who would fight through hard work in order to be successful. He wasn't known to knock everybody's head off, but rather use his skills to to make the difference in the scoreboard. The Sedins play a skilled game that is seen as being soft since they don't get into fights. They persevere through all the holding and cheap shots. Notice when they are on the boards battling for the puck? Most of the time they fight off 2 oponents and make a good pass or score. It's not the type of hockey we are used to, but it's the type of hockey that gets the job done. Come play-off time, I think there will be alot of people that will be surprised at the Sedins. They won't be doing any disapearing acts then. Just my 2 cents.

By the way, Luongo is a whole different story.

Yup we Canadians play good hard nosed hockey and we finished third at the Juniors while the Swedes took first, worked out real well for us. The twins are two of the most skilled people in the NHL why would they risk getting an injury in a fight, so they could be like Taylor Hall gets in one fight and gets laid up for a few weeks because he rolled is ankle or some s__t.

The Bruins are a good team but they are the biggest cheap shot artists on the ice, seriously the only way Marchand could have hit him any lower was if he laid down on the ice.

The last time I looked (this afternoon) they keep score on the big score board of who is scoring the most goals.

The Sedins DOMINATE Canadian goons like you when it comes to putting the puck in the net don't they?

P.S. is that you Don Cherry?
