work the shelfs 6 fow to 1 ft .. use a wire worm or russian tear drops /wetaskiwin spoons work to.. Your after Lake Whitefish but be ready for a Pike with a smelt on hook beside hole.. put out a tip-up for pike .. do a jerk like a minnow or backswimmer .. and or big drops . if you have camera go deeper and try to get into the schools .. remember you are keying in on the Whites so you could be 1/2 a hour between fish . but if you are lucky some days will make your heart race for that 1 hr or 2 . we got 7 today and biggest was 2#1 but i missed a 4# and a 2 .. seen some small pike to 5 1/2 all in all a great Day hope that helps.. Patience Persistent Perserverance

Food for Thought
