Glad to hear your a Bluegrass fan Gus...my Brother plays in a Bluegrass Band out of winnipeg. They have an awesome Banjo Player who just joined the band a few years back as the original guy passed away...his name was Lonesome Pete...the original name of the band was Lonesome Pete And The Himilayan Mountain Boys. These guys have been playing for about 35 years together...maybe even a bit more than that..i cant really remember now.
My brother had the pleasure and dream of a lifetime to have played some music with Bill Munroe...the founder of Bluegrass as some would say....he was so proud to show pictures of the two of them together some years ago.
I finally took an interest in trying my hand at music and began teaching myself to play the guitar with the help of a coupla friends...that was about 4 years ago...now i play around the campfire and wish i had done this a long time ago....i love old country,new country,Eagles...and of course Bluegrass....i am nowhere near the player my brother is,but i sure enjoy trying!
Anyway Gus i just wanted to chime in on your post as i just couldn't help it!!
