Hello Everyone, I am pleased to announce the breeding of "Suncanyon's Stellar Stella" to "Goodbye Earl". The projected litter due date is July 7th with the pups ready to go around the September long weekend.
The female "Stella" is a supurb bird dog who has hunted ruffies, sharpies and huns. She also has 3 or 4 puppy and derby placements in the Alberta field trail circuit. Besides being extremly biddable Stella is a wonderful house pet who lives with us, our two small children and the rest of our "herd". Earl has the same mannerisms ,both are true "suck" dogs!! The Sire "Earl" is one of the best field trial setters in Alberta. He is currently owned and handled by an amatuer but has come very close to winning a couple of Championships.

Max is a beautiful tri-color male that is a super wild bird dog, he has a great nose with exceptional style on point. He has a graceful gait and good reach and exceptional style running. In competition he has placed in both walking and horseback trials and in open and amatuer stakes qualifying him for all championships. His breeding combines some of the best Smith and Sunrise blood including three hall of fame champions, 11xCH Tekoa Mountain Sunrise, 9xCH Hick's Rising Sun and 7xCH The Performer; others include 8xCH Hamilton's Blue Diamond, 4xCh Brannigan, 2xCH Private Ryan and CH Premium who was the last setter to win the Masters Shooting Dog Championship. Max is a full brother to Ch The Insider and RU CH Smarty Smith. Max produces superior pups with style and class. They develop early and those who have a Max pup just love them

A little info on Stella’s Dam

Star is the dam of Ch/2xRUCh Grouse Feather Trooper. Trooper was top amatuer setter shooting dog in the country two years running and second one year by 20 points! She has produced really nice pups that develop early

Earl’s mother (originally Murray’s Magnum, changed to Grouse Feather Maggie when Allen Dunbar bought her from Bill Murray) is a littermate sister to Hamilton’s Blue Diamond (out of Hicks Rising Sun x Jett’s Secret Lady). so Earl is as close up to Hall-of-Fame HRS as it gets today

Earl’s sire 5xCH Tekoa Mountain Patriot is an interesting dog – he’s out of 2x Setter Award winner and TMS son Crescent City Dexter x Junior’s Pinekone Katie (basically CH grouse dog breeding).

As you can see some of the best English Setter blood in North America.

These pups will make excellent hunters for all upland game and/or loving family pets. Both parents are hunted extensivly and live in their respective home with their families. I have personally judged both the sire and the dam and I can say they both are a pleasure to see run and hunt. If I didn't have my hands full I would be breaking down the door for one of these pups.

Only one orange and white male left!!! He should have a full orange mask with orange on both ears. He is very cute and active!! Due to shipping complications to a client that we just could not work out, this little guys is up for sale again. He is an orange and white male, he will have a full orange mask over both eyes and both ears will be orange. He is a super little dog and will be a great addition to a loving sportsman/woman's home. He is ready to go on the Monday of the September long weekend. Here are some pictures of the little darlin'.
