Fill it up and see where it's leaking from. If you can't find it a garage can pressure test it for you.

Where abouts are you located. If you are near stony plain spruce grove area I can lend you my pressure tester if you would like.

If you are lucky it is just a hose- likely lower rad hose.
Don't risk driving it without coolant.
Daylight will tell the story.

I had a '97 chevy for 7 years. Went through 2 water pumps. I'll bet a 6-pack its the water pump. Quick test, grab the fan and try to move it front to back. It shouldn't move.

ah yes, I forgot about the manifold gaskets. I must have had THE rare chevy, I didn't have any problems with my manifold gasket(s). Put quite a few miles on it too.

Cracked/corroded or missing frost plug.

Highly possible but you won't know for sure until you see the leak. Antifreeze can run along the frame etc and look like it's coming from somewhere else, better off washing it off if possible and pressure test, get under there with a good bright light and see where it's from. As stated above don't take the risk of driving it anywhere.

In a heartbeat......if it's missing you could technically have up to an inch and half hole in your block.

Check your heater hoses and the fitting in the manifold on the passenger side about 3/4 the way back.

I blew my rad hose not long ago.
I pulled over as soon as it happened, but the heat was so great, so quickly, that it created a hairline crack in the rad itself. That, or the hose I used was too rigid with not enough give as the pressure increased, and that could have created the crack.
Anyway, first hose was about $80. New rad and another new hose was another $500 or so. Or was it more? Too much anyway. Feel your pain. Had to cut grocery budget in half for two months.
Oh, and if you replace the hose, check that it's tightened on at each end a few times after the new one is installed. It may loosen some as the hose settles in, and if it's too loose, you'll start leaking coolant.
