Default 2012 Manitoba buck

well season starts out and my hunting buddy saw this buck early in bow season. so i was limited to time during bow and hunted a few days just didnt have any luck. then opening of muzzleloader starts and we try small drives and still haven't seen this guy so one day i decide to sit behind the landowners house about 200 yards away and think the buck might be sleeping in his backyard so i sit for last hr of light when all of a sudden i see a big doe at 80 yards and hasn't noticed me yet so she worked herself behind a tree and i decide to pull up gun quickly as i do this i see this buck behind her standing in some brush got the heart racing abit but now she is staring me down and i decide to go all in and pull up quick for a shot at the buck but before i got him in the scope she blew off and so did he.

wondered for a few days where they would have worked themselves too now so its 2 days after this that i decide to sit 200 yards further down the bush and as im walking in about to sit i see the doe 180 yards in the bush starring me down i look in the binos and its that blasted doe again so i quickly set up behind a tree and am hoping see will settle down and bring the buck closer but she stands there for about 3 mins and turns around and walks away and all i see behind her is this buck.

So now its nov 13th rifle season and im out scouting different areas to hunt and decide for the evening to sit on a alfalfa field where all the doe's feed just before last light to hope and see this guy. so i sit down around a bale pile glassing the field and the doe's start filtering out and im getting excited and at 10 mins of last shooting light this guy comes out alone looking for a new girlfriend at this time im getting ready for the shot and a white truck is driving down this long drive way im waving at him showing him im here and to go take a hike and he drives past me drives to the landowners house just to turn around to leave as he does this i look out at the field to see which deer are still out there and i see the buck still out there but anxious at 400 yards i pull up my gun put the sights on him with my 300 rum and pull the trigger to hear a loud WHACK double lunged him and now the truck has turned around and leaves with some serious speed those guys tried to screw up my hunt from hunting out of the truck but didnt work out for them. as i walk out there to where i shot at the buck all i saw was blood on his trail to find him dead just inside the bushline. was nice to finally connect on him after all the encounters
