Default Mule deer scouting pics...

Took some time off work and went lookin for the big guys for the upcoming bow season. I found these two decent deer and got some pics. Which one do you guys like better and how much do you think they will score? Sorry about the lack of detail for the second deer but I took the pics right at sunset.

For the record, they are both 4x4's, but the second deer has a bunch of little stickers coming off both sides.

that got the juices flowing in me. Nice deer. I would peg the first one in the 170-175 gross range. The second is hard to tell but looks to have decent mass. I would guess him to be around 180ish. They would be no brainers for a bow kill. Good luck

It's a little know rule - more of a guideline really, that anybody posting trailcam pics must include the following with the original post. Details like:

1. Exact GPS point
2. Prevailent wind direction
3. Where you would put your stand / is there a stand or blind already
4. Phone # and favorite malt liquor of the landowner.

It's a stupid rule I know - but who am I to question?. Sooo, if you just go ahead and quickly PM those minor bothersome details to me, I will ensure that they get posted properly in a timely manner - you know, to avoid any infractions &....stuff.

(not my original post but I am willing to follow the rules.)

Wow! Very impressive bucks. Kilerbren, based on the photos, I like the first buck a little more but either one would be awesome to bag with the bow.

DonnyBear - that second picture of yours is very cool. The bottom buck looks like he's got great character.

Thanks for posting guys. September is getting close but not fast enough.

Thanks guys. I think if the first buck was alittle heavier he'd be an awesome buck, that velvet can be deceiving. Im a fan of the character of the second one with all the stickers and stuff. Im gonna go out and get some better pictures of that second one in a week or two, and I know for sure there is a thrid in the same class so maybe i can get a shot or two of him as well. Hopefully I can find them again (fingers crossed).

Donny Bear, i love that second picture, thats a good deer.
