Dear Rugatika
I really like the depth of your wisdom that you showed in the 'how to avoid...' thread, and it seems like we really have a lack on AO for an advice Columnist. I think it would be amazing if the Mods could sticky this, members could post their questions here and you could give us some more of those answers that are so helpful and really make my day.....
I will start with my own question first:
Dear Rugatika, lately I find that the stupid ignorant neighbors from an Eastern Province who live in a crowded crew house with 6 big trucks taking up all the parking, are having a lot more parties than usual. I suspect this has to do with the Christmas season and all. How can I get them to move away without doing anything illegal? TC

Dear Rugatika:
It seems that I shoot the wrong rifles chambered in the wrong cartridges.
All my friends tell me so, and they must know because they shoot all the latest gear.
I also apparently drive the wrong truck.
What is the best rifle for hunting and what is the best truck to drive??
Sincerely....

OK, for the above and those who want to know what the airspeed of an unladen swallow are. Dear Rugatika is going to have his hands full with real concerns so!

Dear Rugatika,
Im living in this allah forsaken town of Grande Prairie.
I do so miss the cawd back home. All we have here are large bodied deer that are not indigenous to the area. These Albertans think they are in low supply right now, but our crew of 6 guys shot 2 does each this fall.
I drive a long box dually 4 door truck and the engineering on this street is horrendous. You would think with all the engineering threads on AO that a municipality could build a proper street.
I've noticed some guy up the road with a tape measure. It looks as though hes making sure I am 1.5 meters away from his cut curb where he pulls into his driveway.
I checked the Alberta TSA and it specifically states that if a vehicle is closer than 1.5m, then it is in violation of the act....
As mentioned there are 6 of us here all with big trucks.
(We would like to get a package deal on truck nuts for our hitches, have any inside info on where to get a package?)
Anyway, its Christmas party season and we are all half in the bag mosr of the time.
Can you suggest a brand of scotch that we could give to the guy up the road?
He has 5 women living in his house and could probably use a good bevy right about now.
I think he is going to get up to some illegal activity in order to try and get us to move...
Looking forward to your insight.
Its always....insightful.
Sincerely, Dac

Upper Canada, Lower Canada, central Canada....Meh I have a difficult time following those threads as well.
Let me just say this.
Alberta first,Alberta last, and Alberta forever!
I am a patriot.
But I have had exceptional experiences with my Canadian brothers all across this country, and some of their sisters

Dear Dr. Rugitika:
I have been having some very scary bad dreams lately.
They involve a long romantic relationship with Wendy Cukier.
I wake up in a cold sweat shaking and thinking I am going crazy.
What do you suggest I do Doctor?
Maybe a long rest in the Alberta Hospital with Electro Convulsive Therapy five times a day?
Quit the Liberal Party of Canada?
Buy a Budgie?
I need help. I am sitting here chewing on my pool noodle.

Dear Rapedapotata,
I used to love fishing but can't due to the anxiety and acid reflux I get as a result anymore. You see I like to fish with McDonalds and the overcrowding of our fishing holes in Alberta due to all the out of province immigrants means I am constantly dodging being mugged for my golden fries and greasy pickled burgers. That and watching all the azuns stealing our fish and driving away in their tan minivans, gawd I just can't take it. I'm chewing mitts full of tums just to write this.....
How do I deal with this so I can enjoy the docks at the locally stocked fishery?
If only the petition to allow me wilderness carry would work it would solve all these issues for me I am sure.
Yours truly,
The Limping Ginger

Listen Mr. High-and-mighty, time to step off your pedestal. What makes your question more important than mine? How can I pick the proper shot if I don't understand the capabilities of my quarry? This is not trivial to me!!! This IS a real question. Maybe Abbytika will have choke recommendations!!!
OK, I gotta go, the sarcasm meter in the next room is on fire right now.

I try and try to twist my dubbing into gold but all I get is raggedly flies? Do you know anyone that gives loom lessons?

Lower oil prices will bring a slowdown this winter. They should be kissing the cod shortly after Xmas. Until then, I would go over, introduce myself and throw a heel of Russian Prince Vodka on the table and then proceed to drink all their finer liquors. Do this every time they have a party, and mention that you noticed they were having a party and invited yourself over. Feel free to bring friends or homeless people you feel would enjoy some warmth and free liquor. Order several pizzas and then cough up a crumpled tenner when the host answers the door.

Best rifle is of course the Winchester model 70 featherweight (and I know you didn't ask...but in 30/06 of course). Once you achieve the age of 45, having achieved a high level of wisdom by this time, as every rifleman knows, you are free to shoot the most obscure rifles and cartridges known to man, making the claim that every one you shoot is the absolute best you've ever shot.
The absolute best truck to drive is a 1990 Chev 3/4 ton 4x4, 350 auto, air, tilt, cruise, manual windows and manual locks.
