Bet it's the one with the guy holding up the giant pike in his boat.

That has been floating around for a good 7 or 8 yrs. Keeps popping up as a record Ontario or record Ab. out of Keho.

While I'm sure it's a hoax, I'm excited to see it nonetheless. Post a picture!

Feel free to forward the email to me @ jphutter@ucalgary.ca

I'll post it up for you.

Definitely an old picture. Search "big pike ice fishing" on google images. You'll see it a couple times with claims it's from Minnesota or somewhere in Europe.

If I had a nickel for "everyones buddy who just sent me a pic" who turns out to be a liar, I would retire.

Friends like that make you look like a fool.

lol.

My rule if thumb is simple ....Never post someone elses picture unless you were there to see it happen ......

Nice pike anyways ..... quite a hog

Wow that lake really freezes up early judging by the pic!!!! Must be a foot of ice already. Better get up there and get on it. Might be able to ice fish that lake all year round by looks of it. With Pike that size in there imagine how big the Perch and Walleye must be.!!?? Great looking fish though......
