Default Where to buy a Otter Sled?

Just wondering if anyone knows where to buy a Otter Sled? I am tossing the idea around of buying the large or medium one to tow behind the quad that all my gear will fit in.

Thanks

The Fishin Hole has a similar sled for $70.00. It is a Jet sled (54'X24'X10"). Or a bigger one for $130.00 (XCEL JET SLED 30X66X12 DEEP).

I am not sure where you can get Otter sleds. We bought the bigger Jet sled and abused it severely behind a snowmobile with a big load. It stood up really well. The hitch kits need beefing up though. We broke the hitch 3 different ways.

Default Otter sleds

The one in the picture is the magnum size and they are 183@WSS in Edmonton ,I did see one at peavey mart in Westlock in that size. The next size down was 130 @ WSS but like fishing sometimes bigger is better stick with the biggest one unless you fish alone these things fill up fast tents ,pails ,augers ,heaters ,chairs ,tackle box, kids and least but not last the kitchen sink

UFA has calf sleds which are the same.....worth checking them for price too. They are a foot deep and cost around $80 but made solid enough to carry some weight. http://www.ufa.net/PDFFiles/Livestoc...g-Supplies.pdf this maybe what your looking for?

Thanks for all of the replies guys.
Yeah I wanna buy the bigger one so I can get lots of stuff in it. Our local Peavy Mart carries the bigger one for $139. Hopefully they have one in stock.

Default Otter Sled

$99.00 at Peavey Mart in Leduc. Bought one last week. Built way more sturdy than the Jet Sleds at Fishing Hole.

Default otter sled

I agree with rumtan. I got a calf sled from UFA several years back for a good price. It is constructed with heavy gauge plastic and holds up well.

I have been using that sled from Canadian Tire, it has been holding up well. It is small, but that is good when going solo. Think the name brand is Pelican.

I have been looking at the Otters and Jet sleds, but know as soon as I buy something bigger I will be putting more crap in it.

Default Otter Sleds

Got a "Magnum" Otter Sled for xmas. Had to drill out the hitch hole to fit on Arctic Cat Sled. Wanted the Magnum because the smaller ones tip in the quad tracks. Like the extra space for stuff. Real sturdy. Looking for runners, WWS was sold out so will order from Peavey Mart, St.Paul. Kids love riding in the sled behind ATV's. Take the hitch off and pull with a rope if you go fishing without the ATV. Brought the buck out of the bush with ease. Used a rope to the trail then put on the hitch and quadded home.

my opinion get the big one, they fill up real fast. Olso if you can find a welder to make you a decent hitch from 1'' square tube it will last forever.

Got mine at Peavey Mart in Camrose a couple years ago. Cheaper then the city, at least it was then. I got the big one and love it.

I bought the large otter sled. Its the widest one they make 44" X 84". The biggest one I could find in alberta was the magnum which I felt was still too small. I ordered mine from a store in thunder bay. and paid $50.00 to get it shiped to lacombe(grey hound) and 270.00 for the sled/ Well worth the money. The otter seem to be better built than the Jet and calf sleds. I also got "fisher guy" to weld me a nice hitch.
