I am looking at one as well. I would like to find one on display where you could use the demo mode to try it out. I've heard they fairly user friendly but would take a bit of practice to figure out all the bells and whistles.

If you are looking at the Hummingbirds, hold off a bit. In June, Lowrance has their side imaging coming out, and apparently from the news I have heard it is awesome. It works with their new HDS units, and it is a transducer upgrade. The new HDS stuff from Lowrance is amazing, I really like what I have seen so far. I find the ease of use much better with the Lowrance, and it's much easier with data transfering as most people run Lowrance already, and transfering files is simple. Chris K
