Default Blind Faith

Here we are the night before the most important day of the year.

We moved the one blind this summer to better take advantage of the lay of the land. It's now 175 yds to the west bush, 285 to the southwest, 285 to the northwest and around 330 to the south fence.
And a whopping 70 yds to the east bush line.

I've had some trail cam failures since I've put them out, but what I do have for pics, plus the deer sign holds high promise for this location.

The other location is always a winner, so here's hoping gang.

Be safe have fun, and enjoy yourselves.

love the propane tank...nice and warm. Nice set up. 330 is a good poke.

What will be your rifle of choice for this spot?

Tomorrow it'll be my .280AI with 150's doing 3015fps.
Once I get back to the range it'll be my .260 Rem, and 140's at 2800fps.

330 from that blind is not that tough of a poke. Last year we used my Palma rifle with optics to take a WT buck at 430, and then a doe at 506..... it kinda felt cheap to be honest, hardly even made the deer raise their heads at the shot.

I just built this a week ago, brought in some trees and drove them in the ground along with the alters and camo burlap. Camera is showing deer around there at night and early morning. No luck yet in this spot though but I got so cold yesterday. Yours looks cozy, do you have a lazy boy in there too?

Your links don't go anywhere, use another system, I don't do google.

No lazy boy it's only a 4' square structure. It's a swivel office chair

The buddy heater is a must if ya wanna go for the long haul.

How do you watch all directions without going crazy and thinking you're looking down the wrong lane all the time? Pretty awesome set up!

It actually keeps you awake, looking in all directions.

There's times when you get a bit dizzy if things start hopping, but at the end of the day, you can't look everywhere at once, but that's just hunting.

I love the tower blind Op! Good stuff.
While we're on the subject:
Overlooks 4 cut lines in the deep stuff. It's a major elk crossing all year but especially in November when hunting pressure pushes them deeper
Simple. Fun to build. Effective

It's about 35 mins to go time, I'm all nestled in my perch.
-3, windy and snowing.
I'm sure glad Bushrat vacated the blind when he did(musta run outta Halloween treats)

4 walls, and plexi glass windows.... thank gawd.

Good luck, nice place to sit on a day like today. The deer should be moving.

This wind could stop any time now.
Haven't seen a deer yet. But did watch 2, 35" bull moose at 320 yds have some push and shove fun, though.(no moose draw)

Yesterday was a big let down, I never saw a single deer. Just the 3 moose in the morning.
Here's the view looking south from the blind.

I had to call in sick this morning, a crushing headache from a gimpy neck, and mighty lose guts.

A trip to the bone cracker, and a couple Imodium and I'm back on stand.

The usual stand.
The Pit Boss is over at the other stand, lotsa sign since last night, so here's hoping.
