Default Heads Up! Grizzly in the area

Anyone hunting the NCC Connop property west of Millarville in the next few days. Was hunting the north end this morning and ran across a rather large Grizzly. Last seen in the south property. Take care out there.

Default Grizzly

Saw one cross 338 heading east just short of the second set of mail boxes you pass after leaving Highway 22 at about 11:15 this morning Nov. 9th.

Hot Damn. I bow hunted that land on many different days in October. I did come across some rather large piles of scat full of choke cherry seeds.

Glad I didn't have an encounter.

Should t that guy be hibernating soon?

Word on the street, from Turner to Bragg, there's more predators around this year.

There's an old skinny tom Cougar running around, stalking calves near the golf course. Another on the north side of 22 in the bow zone, this one has taken several house pets. Could this grizz be the same one seen on the Anderson's?

there have been many grizz in that area for years. Stay safe and alert when in bear country.

We were close to one of Anderson’s grazing lands in the bow zone and saw two grizz sitting on the side of the hill. As far as I had heard these were not problematic bears but F&W came in and caught one anyway. That year there was 21 confirmed different bears according to the one F&W member we talked to.

It’s not surprising they’re there.

Why would they trap and relocate a bear that isn't causing any trouble? Seems like a waste of resources.

It’s not leases, that’s why you can’t find them. He owned the land. He has since
Passed and I believe it was his daughter took over and sold the one piece of property that I’m talking about.
