Smile Not my biggest, but will be one of the most memorable

Myself and a good buddy took our 2 boys who are of the same age wall tent hunting in the big bush. They built a fort.

We did some hunting and exploring, monster ant hill.

A lynx.

Saw a total of 6 deer the first day, no bucks. The next day I decided to hike into a cut that is far from any drivable roads. We were just getting settled in a good vantage point and I spotted a deer feeding. I gave the boy the binoculars and he said it’s a buck dad and you should shoot it. My boy has never actually saw a deer get shot so it was go time. 200 yard shot and the buck ran into a lower part that I couldn’t see. My buddy sent a text because he heard the shot and he came to help with his son. They all stayed while I went to investigate. The buck went down just out of site. The rest is memories that those boys will remember for the rest of their lives.
