Default Oldman/Bow forks?

Oldman/Bow forks - never been but thinking of going soon. I realize the S.S.R. aint to prime for fishin' right now but I'll take the pepsi challenge How is the camping - firepits? terrain? cost? Can't seem to find any good info on the area regarding camping?
O ya - is there a boat launch there?
Thanx ahead

I haven't camped there so I haven't looked too closely at the facilities. There are fire pits and outhouses, it is well treed with moderate terrain to access (car can do it). There is no "launch" per se but it is easy to launch a small boat by backing it down the bank.

Default forks

Does anyone have any info on where a person could launch a small tinny or inflatable on the bow and pull out at the forks?
I am heading down there soon and would like to put in somewhere upstream on the bow approx 15-20km and float down.

Looking at the map, the closest bridge upstream from the forks appears to be where hwy 524 crosses.

On the oldman, it looks like u could put in at wolf island.

Anyone familiar with this area in terms of float locations and times?

Any info would be great!!

Your driving a truck right? and what are you pulling for a boat and are you bringing a tent or trailer? as for the fee's its free according to my roomate but you NEED to fill out some registration thing. if you get back to me on your stats i can tell you if you can launch or not. you will need to make multiple trips in if your hauling both boat and trailer IMO.
