Default 252-258 mulies

has anyone drawn antlered mule deer tags for 252, 254 258 last year. i applied this year and should get in. didnt last year though. but my cousin has been driving me nuts to get that tag with him so was wondering what to expect. any pics of downed deer??

I wouldnt bother drawing in 252, theres not enough concentrated mulie areas for me to burn a few years priority on. Maybe draw in 258 if you can get permission in the south-east portion.

Other than that there are far better areas to the south.

258 was my second pick. that'll probably be the one i get. last year i put in for 252 only. what size of deer do you usually see in this area?

There is good deer out there, just harder to find. You could whack a 200. I would draw in 202,203,166,164 that area... get into the coulees and its easier with higher concentrations of mulies.

Lots of pressure in 258 hard to get permission lot of dudes head up to hunt the grazing pasture one on north side of river and one on south side of river good mulies along the river on private land and the boys that own the land are big hunters also a couple big outfitters have camps in the aera lot of road hunters best bet would be south of river less posted land Good mulies in 252 but hard to hunt.Good luck
