Calgary Fly Fishing Beginner looking for tag-along/tips

hey guys,

i'm new to Calgary and even newer to fly fishing and i was wondering if anyone on here would mind if i tagged along for a quick outing. I'm not looking to have someone show me where to fish or steal anyones favorite spots, i'm just hoping to get a few pointers as the couple of times i've been on the river i spent at least 75% of time untangling line from around either itself or some kind of plant life,,,,

None of my friends or co-workers here fish (which really sucks) and I was going to get a guide or instruction but with work being slow and summer holidays approaching the budget is a little low right now, i can however afford some beers though

Or if any fellow newbies out there want to meet up and try to figure things out that is just as good. I live near downtown so location is flexible and i'm typically off work around 4ish on weekdays with weekends off. Please feel free to PM me if interested
