Every person is diffrent Walleyes and it also depends on how the year goes as far as moisture for horn growth is concerned...
When i draw my rifle tag in 2 years I will be looking for something very close to 80 inch as this is what i consider to be a Trophy...
Archery I would kill anything that comes in range lol

I would put him about 74, He is probably only 13.5 " and a little light on the mass. With prongs like that, give him another year and he will be a slammer

Hey Walleyes, I'd say somewhere around 70 you are talking a nice mature animal and 76 plus would be a good one in my books. 80 plus is a toad. 82 is book.

Everything but mass
I think that antelope is a shooter,I've seen alot of them living around medicine hat,the one in your picture scores around 76 8\16 gross if not bigger.if you get him,let us know the score!!!i'd have trouble passing him up.

Thanks Gentlemen,, I really apreceate the help..
I have been glassing quite a few the last few days and looking at these pics I have to raise my standards a bit. I have seen a couple very nice Bucks well I thought they were hogs but seeing some of the pics on here I would have to re think them. I would have put them trophy quality but seeing this they would just make shooter's..
All good stuff.

antelope are one of the hardest animal to judge score on.
but he does look light on top but he has huge cutters.
all goats horn split a little diffrent, curl diffrent and are thicker or just thicker near the bottom. knowing how they get scored you can pick up a few inches in being tall your missing in width.
i dunno i have been helping a friend hunt for his antelope for a couple weeks now. ive seen enough around i know that that would be a nice one

That goat is no bigger than 72" but does have some serious potential.

How do you score an antelope? 70+" on that? Not that I'm argueing the score, just want to understand how you calculate it.

I agree completely with TJ.
BTW, BB416, 80" antelope are pretty rare and hard to find, at least in Alberta. Better chance at a 76-78".

Last time we were drawn we killed a buck just shy of 80 inch net and had a BC buck lined up that was shot out from under us opening morning ....
This was also on a year that did not have near the moisture that Southern Alberta has gotten that last few years...
So I am aware that an 80 inch buck is hard to find but with lots of scouting and a little luck I believe it is a goal that we can reach.Obviously if it is a drought year we will have to lower our standards and I always do have a sweet spot for weird bucks or ones that are extremly tall no matter what they score lol..
Hardest part is being able to accurately judge an 80 inch buck imo...
