What is your favorite time of the day to hunt?
Which do you perfer..... Morning, Mid-day, Evening or do you hunt all 3?
As for me I do all 3. Sure it might be true that you well see more in the mornings or the evenings, but do not rule out the Mid-day. There was on a number of occasions that I saw some nice game between 12:30-2:30pm. Infact last fall one of my whitetails was a Mid-day kill. Actually come to think of it, in the last few years I got at least 1 mid-day kill.
Anyhow they asked this same question in the form of a pole down south(USA) and only 6% that took the poll hunted the mid-day. 60% morning and 33% evening.
A mid-day hunt can be a rewarding hunt....at least that is my opinion.

I like to hunt all three, my favourite is the morning, but I'm more successfull in the evening. I like the morning the best because you have all day to retrieve, take pics etc.

I like early mornings for Moose calling and mid morning say 9 - 11 for rattling Whities,, I have found my best success rattling at this time not sure why but it has worked for me...

All day, we've done days where we went from a duck hunt in the morning until noonish, put the dogs back home and then went and hunted deer until sundown. Sure is a tiring day but what great way to spend it - watching the sun come up and watching it go down all while enjoying mother nature. This year is going to be so awesome bc I work from home now and can make my own hours....what out for some good pics I hope!

I try and hunt all day whenever possible. You only get so many days off to hunt every fall so I like to make the most of them.

I try to hunt all day also, but if not, the last hours of light on the river is the best for me.
The deer seem to come off the high benches then.

Sit morning and evenings, walk slow for the entire day through bush and bluffs. Seems to work as my two biggest whitetails have been around lunch.

All day for me. However, the lower that sun gets, the better the animal has to be. I've had to recover 2 in the dark, and really have no desire to do so again.

That's the way I roll too. We usually need that after lunch recharging time when we are at elk camp.

Yeah, I try to hunt all day long when I have the time off. I personally have found that I have more success and see more critters in the evenings than daybreak or mid day.
