Default Cooking Lake Neighbourhood

Anyone know what the neighbourhood in Strathcona County around Wellington Rd and S Cooking Lake Rd is like? Any opinions are helpful and thanks.

I've never been to that area. I'm looking more for the community information - does it seem to be taken care of, etc. Here's a screenshot of the area that I'm talking about:

Thanks again,

Default Cooking Lake

I drove through there last summer looking at the homes wondering if I would want to live there. I wasnt much impressed. The lake is almost all dried up, so I dont know what reason a person would have to live there. I found the place to feel generally run down and lonely. I also remember thinking that if the roads through there didnt get plowed it would be a bit of a bugger in the winter.
Thats my take on it. Hope that helps.
