Streams west of RMH

Has anyone ventured west of Rocky for stream fishing? (Elk Creek, Prairie,etc)
Wondering if all ice is off yet.

was just there visiting my folks last weekend and caught lots of browns out of the nprth saskatchewan. This time of year is excellent

Had the day off and wen't for a drive today up past Caroline on 591 then around on the trunk to Rocky and all creeks (Elk ect) I crossed were mostly ice free. A little ice on edges. It was the first time I drove that far past tay I had no idea of the elevation of the road. Some friggin steap banks
