Default Best trail cam to catch gas thieves at night?

I have a customer that is missing alot of fuel each week. The thieves even installed a 1/4 turn valve on the drain plug. Which trail cam would work best for taking clear pictures at 30 to 40 feet at night? The owner only comes around every couple weeks.

Although I didn't buy one, the best idea I found was a motion activated security light/camera combo. That way you have good light for the pictures and the thieves don't think it is a camera and destroy or steal it. I think it was made by Stealthcam.

Try to make sure the camera is able to get a good shot at a rear licence plate if a vehicle is used.

Tell him to get the new Recon Trail camera. They are infrared and they send pictures instantly to your cell phone or email, then you can just call the police and catch them in the act. They are about $800 bucks is the only kicker, but i will be happy to take it off his hands once he is done with it!
Second choice would be a cuddeback IR.

Too the best of my knowledge the cell phone cameras do not work here in Canada. The GSM signals do not work with our cell carriers. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes on the Cuddeback Capture IR or No Flash. I have both of these and they work very well at night. Far better than my Bushnell Trophy IRs do at night.

Installing a valve in the drain hole, with a full tank of fuel? Sounds like an interesting Project. Thought they only tried things like that, in Nigeria. I'll bet there's a lot more to this story, than meets the eye.

http://www.reconyx.com/hyperfire.php?model=SC I would say you will need a camera that isn't seen, or the theives will just as likely take your evidence as well. The nightflash on these guys is supposed to be extremely hard to see. You will need to conceal it in some way so as not to be seen. I've got a couple of the older RM45's and they are an excellent camera, the downside is cost.
