this is the kind of stuff that happens when you handload and start or go over the recommended max load, or pay no attention that the load that worked well for your lead core bullet like a Hornady interlock or the Sierra Game King isn't the load for your TSX even though it's the same weight bullet!

And checked before they are used? That could have just as easily been mud.

Sorry but I must have missed something.
I saw a barrel blow up and then a flash to something about crayons......... Is the implication that someone with little hands shoved a crayon down the barrel? If so, then why didn't the shooter look down the barrel for obstructions before loading his rifle to shoot?
I'd be quicker to believe that the hunter shoved his barrel into the mud and didn't know it before firing.

There is a full version of this somewheres on youtube where it states that it was mud plugged.

Whats most impressive is it only phases the guy for about 5 seconds then he grabs someone elses rifle and gets back at her.

thats what i was finding amazing about this video myself. be it that your that much of a fool to leave your rifle around for kids to dink around with, but then you dont check your rifle from the house to the bush. that dont sit with me. but jeez , a 2 dollar roll of electrical tape can save a grand pretty easy!!
