Dont you wonder about the knowledge of some hunters big game anatomy when they say
"I shot him through the front shoulder"

I have shot and butcherd hundreds of animals both wild and domestic,so far they never had any shoulders in the back.

I guess it's the same as when people say a "pair of jeans", everyone knows its only one but people are accustomed to saying these things. I don't think it's a lack knowledge.
