Default Kids winter boots?????

Well with ice fishing season approaching quickly I am gearing up!!!! The only difference this year is that we have our little one who will be a year old in 2 weeks. I have up sized the tent bought her a snow suit and all appropriate clothes. I can not find boots anywhere!!! Anyone bought good boots for their kids when they were this young? We have some boots but not really meant for outdoors stuff. Any tips would be appreciated as the wife says she can not come with out a good pair!!

Hey Man,

Baffin makes a really nice set of boots for kids.

Steger Mukluks are awesome but you can run into a few issues if it's wet out so only use them in the "cold" weather. I see your little one is pretty young so there isn't going to be a lot of running around.....I'd go with these.

Steger (sp?) is a good company that is easy to deal with.....out of Minnesota I think.

Google SoftMoc. They have all kinds of INFANT shoes and Boots. That young you are buying by age not shoe size.

That kind of confuses me. She will be turning 1 next weekend and the shoes she currently have are size 3. Does that mean she has huge feet?

Infant shoes can be sized by the age as well as size. I have been searching for your boots for the last half hour.LOL. The smallest "real" winter boots I have found so far are Kamik snow bugs. Infant size 5. According to the year charts 1 year is about size 4. If I find anything I will post them, but it seems you're not the only one that has this problem with kids boots.
