No I don't think you need a boat rack.
It also looks good without any tie down straps.

No rack needed if you don't mind climbing out the hatch. I'm sure it will do fine on the highway... till a semi goes by!

I just can't figure out why you put a car in your boat you can't bolt in swivel seats like normal
