Default First song off my album completed.

I've been picking at an album I'm trying to record in my spare room for a couple years now. Because I cant get anyone else on board I ended up playing all the instruments. I've got ten more songs done that just need vocals which I keep hoping I can find someone else to do for obvious reasons Anyways It feels like a big thing finaly having one of the songs completed and though I think it would be better with someone else doing the drums and vocals I'm still proud of it.

Pretty dang good for a solo project recorded in your spare room. Right on, Cal. You should be proud. For me it was like a combination of Greenday and Rush.

Don't quit your day job!! Kidding not bad you need to find some band mates if your in the edmonton area let me know I have a full studio and can assist with mixing/mastering if you wish. If you need a drummer or bass player I can acomodate. I have the up most respect for someone who can pull off what you have problem being someone hears it and says when can I see that band live???

Thanks guys, I often have trouble describing my music but thats actualy a very good description. The song I posted is pretty mainstream but much of the other stuff is very diverse and experimental, I guess a little more rush to greenday ratio.

I liked it a lot. It's nice to see someone trying to stretch things a bit.

My band is just waiting for our first CD to come back from the production house. Which is, interestingly, in Edmonton. We're a Celtic trio, so no stretching of musical boundaries, but my personal listening ranges from The Chieftains to Rammstein, so I can appreciate what you're doing in that song.

Good on you.
