Left Hand shooters

Just curious as to how many of AO FORUM members are lefthand shooters .. and are you right or left handed ?

Left handed, shoot bow and rifle left.....ready for the messed up part? Right-eye dominant....I shoot both bow and rifle with both eyes open though.

LH shot and left hand dominant.. I do a few things RH though like hockey.

I'm a Lefty, as is Rugersingle, Devils Right Hand, and SA-Lefty.

I write left, I shoot bow lefts, I golf left, I bat either way, I shoot left in hockey, I throw right, and I shoot pistol wobbly eyed (right hand left eye)

im a lefty, had a pain of a time finding my first gun, a bolt action 30 06. not a lot of people carry left handed rifles.

Left handed for everything! Finally converted to left hand rifles and will never shoot the lower quality right side stuff again!

I'm right handed but shoot my rifle with my left and pool. but shoot my bow with my right and am right eye dominant. Even though I shhot left I have always used right handed rifles. And am teaching myself to shoot right.

i shoot left and im left handed i do how ever perfer a right handed bolt i think its because ive always had to reach over because all the the other shooters in my family where right handed so i just got use to it , its a different feeling having a left hand rifle dont feel quite right , bow is lefty as well

Same boat....wish I wasn't too "cool" in high school to wear glasses. Switched to shooting left handed at 16. Arguably one of the dumbest things I've ever done

I've told a number of people the same thing " Only a few rifles are perfect, the rest are all right handed " and they don't like it ..lol .

I shoot do everything left, except golf and hockey... never really played hockey though, and golf... well... it's golf! Hunting is WAY better!

My vision is perfect so not sure why the oddity. I have a friend that is the same way.

I am finding a lot of gun fun with single shots lately. Too bad a lot of the stock options don't go LH.

I shoot a bow RH go figure.

guns, handguns, pool are LH, all the rest are RH

I like SS rifles.

but am pretty fast with a bolt, and I don't reach over. that is awkward. I just use my right hand.

I've never tried a LH bolt... perhaps when SS become priced out of reach, I may...

I do the same Nanuk.....first time I saw Boddington do that I shook my head. I did give it a whirl while shooting a number of times but lost interest pretty quick as it is awkward to say the least.

I'm actually faster from prone not reaching over......and there is absolutely no advantage in reaching over from an offhand shot that I can figure out.

I would however take this with a grain of salt as I'm TM and he is Boddington.....but his method sure doesn't work for me. Being right-handed probably doesn't help tho.

left eye dominant, shoot left w/right hand guns, bow left, hockey golf and bat left, shoot pool right with my left eye, write and throw right, when i was young and didn't know any better i used to shoot right handed with my left eye!!LOL. Now thats messed up!!
