Check through AHEIA, they have a list of instructors.

Not a lot are teaching Hunter Ed anymore as it is a very long course, and barely worth your time. PLus, the course is now online and very easy to take on your own time.

If you can, send him to the hunter ed week long camp at Alford Lake, My friend and I went as chaparones last aug while our sons took the course. Your grandson will have a great week and get his hunter ed and firearms cert. I totally had a great time there as a chaparone and the kids loved it as well.

AHEIA website will give you course dates and a contact #. Give them a call and talk to them, you will get all the info you need. If you want to chaparone, you have to get a police check done. Better to sign up sooner then later as all classes fill up quick and police checks take some time. Now is the time to call and ask questions.
